About Meet The Workerbeez

Author & Founder Robin Humphrey headshot

Founder/Author

Meet the Workerbeez was founded in March 2024 by Robin Humphrey, a Kansas City native, Rockhurst University graduate, single mother, and community leader. Through a fellowship with the UMKC Center for Neighborhoods, Robin recognized a growing need to help children connect literacy, career exploration, and real-world opportunities at an early age. Inspired to create a positive and sustainable approach to addressing poverty and the widening skills gap, she launched Meet the Workerbeez — an educational brand designed to inspire children through books, hands-on learning experiences, and exposure to a wide variety of careers.

Our Mission

Meet The Workerbeez inspires children to explore careers, build literacy, and develop real-world skills during their most formative years. Through early exposure to career vocabulary and hands-on learning, we help foster confidence, curiosity, educational connection, and long-term workforce readiness — because early exposure changes outcomes.
